It is listed at 124 E State St, Ithaca, NY 14850, which places it among the local businesses of Ithaca that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Ithaca, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Ithaca is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Ithaca is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Overall, not a bad experience. I had the spicy pork belly with vegetables and rice cake, and I loved how tender the pork was and the richness of the sauce. I was hoping for the seafood pancake to be crispier and more flavorful and for it to have more seafood.

Food was great and the staff was super nice. I loved the menu options - I don't often see gamchatang at American Korean places! Highly recommend.

The tteok was okay, but for that price I had better tteok. The sweet potato croquette was delicious though, Iβm kind of surprised nobody talks about it. The service was kind of weird, I had to come in and seated myself. Then before the food even came out the waiter handed me the bill. I think his shift was ending but he couldβve let the lady in the shift handle it instead.

Kimchiβs food was delicious and the service was even better! Our waitress was so kind and sweet; she took care of my family as we dined in. She brought us side dishes to try and made sure everything was okay. Iβm already excited for the next time I come back! The picture features their spicy pork / μ μ‘λ³Άμλ°₯ (Jeyuk Bokkeum Bap), which was delicious. Their black bean noodles / μ§μ₯λ©΄ (Jajangmyeon) and spicy squid / μ€μ§μ΄λ³Άμλ°₯ (Ojingeo Bokkeum Bap) were also so tasty!
